With Thanksgiving being about a day away, I thought this would be a good time to say what I am thankful for!
I am thankful for my amazing and sweet husband! He is my happiness. He is a united states sailor, he risk his life for our country, he fights for our rights, for our freedom, for which what we, the United States, stands! Not only does.he do that, but he is the best husband there is, and he is mine! I will always be proud of what he does and thankful for him being here in my arms, for him being mine<3
I am thankful that our baby is growing healthy inside of me right now. He is right where he should be. And my husband makes sure that we are always taken care of. There is such a happy feeling when you hear you are doing great and your baby is as healthy as can be! We love you baby boy!
I am thankful for my family. They have always made sure that I am doing alright and without them, I wouldn't be where I am today!
I am thankful for the roof over our heads, the food on our tables, the great healthcare we have. We are very thankful for all that we have!

The 8 month Newly Wed Survey

My Hubby:*laughs*Food Network
Me:Yep, I love watching all the shows. My friends even come over and they know what will be on. lol
Q:We're out to eat, what kind of salad dressing do I get?
My Hubby:it depends on the salad. Some salads you get already have dressing on them like the chicken oriental salad or Cesar salad. Or else you get ranch or Italian.
Me:True on all of this!
Q:What's one food I don't like?
My Hubby:anything with a slimy texture. Flan, that's my answer.
Me:I hate Flan, I think it's gross. yuck, don't even like thinking about it.
Q:If we're out to eat, what do I order to drink?
My Hubby:either lemonade or raspberry ice tea
Me:True, They are my favorite drinks. :)
Q:What size shirt do I wear?
My Hubby:Medium
Me:It really depends on the fabric and how it looks on me. I can range from a small to large, just depending on the fit and how I look in them. Now that I'm pregnant, it goes into large, but not that many times.
Q:What size shoe?
My Hubby:7 or 7 1/2

Q:What is my favorite kind of sandwich?
My Hubby:There's so many options, it could be the Philly cheese sub, bologna sandwich, grilled cheese, or the Monte critos I make.
Me:I'm not a picky eater, I love them all. :)

My Hubby:Food at soup plantation
Me: That does sound good right now, but I want sushi. lol :)

My Hubby:Honey Bunches of Oats

Halfway through!
I am 20 and a half weeks today! Seems like it was just yesterday that we found out we were expecting. Time sure has flown by! I know with the holidays coming, it will go by even faster too. We can't wait until our baby boy is here. <3
We have begun to prepare for his arrival. Went and got some bottles, pacifiers, receiving blankets, bottle cleaner, bottle dryer, baby wipes, socks, and some other things. Babe brought home some diapers and some adorable beanies today(it melted my heart<3)
We have our baby shower dates set and they will be when I'm about 7-8 months. We are going to have two, one where our family is and one where we are currently living. So we are planning for those, as well as getting ready for the holidays.
We are going to have our pictures taken around thanksgiving by my grandpa. I'm so excited for that. They will be maternity pictures. We are also going to have some done in a studio, but that's for when I'm a bit bigger. :)
Also, we are planning on having another 3d ultrasound done when I'm around 30-34 weeks. We will get to see him and so many details. We can't wait. :)
In the meantime, we are enjoying the time we have together and feeling our baby boy kicking and moving up a storm.<3

Just need to vent!
So hubby and I were planning on going to go to Ohio for Christmas. He was going to request for a week of leave and we would go there as soon as we could! They told him that he would get it off. This was when he was in one command. So we started looking at plane tickets there. We found two round trip tickets for a little over six hundred! That is such a good price!!! We were going to buy them as soon as he got his leave approved! Well the next day or so, he was switched commands. He asked what about his leave. They say they will fight for him to get it off.
Well apparently they didn't fight hard enough!!
The next command said he was not allowed to take leave because he is still considered in student status and since he is the newest one, he shouldn't even ask to be taking leave! They said that he will have Christmas off though, have a 4 day weekend that holiday. You may ask why don't we go then? We will be on a plane two of those days, so it just won't be worth it.
Its just bull! My husband has not taken leave for a whole year! and then when he asks for it, they say no! That he can take news years leave. But we choose not to because family in Ohio will be at work and we will just be there in empty homes.
We are going to take a trip next year to Ohio to see family when baby Marcus is born. Hubby and I are just bummed. Just one of those things we will have to deal with and move on. Just needed to vent!

Baby Registry
Today, we went and did our baby registry. One at babies r us and one at target. We went to babies r us first. We started out in the breastfeeding, bottles, and pacifiers sections. There are so many different kinds and brands. I have asked around to my mommy friends, they all have different opinions. I decided to go with what I think are best. But when it all comes down to it, it's what the baby likes. So we will just have to see which one he likes more.
We then went to the bathing area and we went with what we knew worked best, Johnson products and got to say, love the baby smell!
We then went to carseat and strollers. We want a 3 wheeled stroller travel system. The colors we picked were gray and green. We then went to play and packs, swings, bouncers, and highchairs. We tried to keep the colors similiar.
Diapers was next. Had to go with pampers and huggies! :)
Baby bedding was next, we went with a blue pattern with cars and planes on it. Its super cute. We then looked at cribs and we decided we want a crib the will be his lifetime bed. We went with a dark cheery wood color too. :)
We then looked at baby sheets, blankets, toys, and decorations for the room. We got mainly blue colors, some green. It was great!
We them looked that the clothes, they are all so cute!!
We then went to lunch at a woodfired pizza place, it was so yummy.
After, we went to target and pretty much went through the process we did at babies r us. It was fun!
I can't wait for our baby boy to be here<3

EDD: April 1, 2011
Yes, I am Pregnant! I have made this public and its been public for a while, it just has been so busy, didn't have the time to write about it on here! But now I am. lol :p
Hubby and I have known since July 25,2010. We both were so happy and in awe. When I first showed David, he kissed me and picked me up and spun around. It was so romantic<3 We were both glowing. I was around 4 weeks and we decided to keep it between us for a while. We wanted to have it confirmed by a doctor and have more information before announcing we were expecting. We confirmed I was pregnant on August 7. We kept it between us for a while longer. In September, we told our families first and they are all very happy too. And then to our friends, and they are all happy too! We are both very happy and excited!
My first prenatal appointment was September 20Th. We got to see our baby and hear the heartbeat. It was amazing. David was able to be there and has been there for all appointments so far. It will stay that way. lol. Our baby's heart rate was at 160 beats per minute and was perfectly healthy.
I felt our baby move for the first time October 4, 2010. I was visiting my family. My mom, grandma, and I went shopping at Kohl's for maternity clothes and while standing in line, i felt the baby move. It's a feeling that's hard to explain, but It was amazing. I was around 15 weeks.
My second prenatal appointment was October 21st. I was around 17 weeks. I was hoping we could find out what we were having, but it was a check up appointment. They checked my vitals and all that stuff and we heard the baby's heartbeat. It was 152 bpm. It was amazing!!
That day I went home and made a 3d/4d appointment for October 30Th, the following Saturday. I didn't want to wait any longer to find out what we were having.
October 30Th came quickly, I was 18 weeks, 1 day. We went and had the ultrasound, It was amazing and we loved every moment of it. I have lots of pictures and a DVD and a recording of the heartbeat. David and I loved it. We plan to go back around 30-34 weeks. You can see so much detail in these ultrasounds.
We are having a BABY BOY!!!<3
Hubby and I are very excited and happy! Hubby even got up and showed me where to look, she found it so quick, I had to ask her to show me again. We are very happy!!!
My next prenatal appointment is in a week. I love every second I get to see our baby boy<3 He is growing so fast and so big. And seeing that he is perfectly healthy!
